His first teacher was Konstantinos Parthenis, while later he was also taught by M. Zavitzianos and D. Dragoumis. He mainly focused on the depiction of landscapes of Corfu, striving to convey the special nature of the landscape using oil in coarse brushstrokes of impressionist character, which sometimes exemplify an expressionist temper. He taught at the Corfu School of Fine Arts.
